When I decided to start up Rooted Creative Co I had one thought in mind: use my skills to help others express themselves through design. Because, after several years of chatting with my IT-guy husband about the many, let’s call them, trying experiences he had had with Developers who were all tech and no style (or communication skills), I had an “aha” moment.
I thought: “Hey! Communicating what people want is kind of my jam! Plus, I am totally techy and nerdy and am REALLY into design and the trends that go along with it. I can totally do this!!” I had worked in marketing for a while and knew I would be able to translate what the client wanted into a website or branding that spoke to them (in a way those Developers just weren’t). And that was it.
I was off to create websites and designs that really shine a light on who you are!
You should know though, I am a mom above all things, and I create to show them that they can do anything they want to if you put in the work!
